Dollars it's basically worth 50 bucks The moment you walk out the store right Yeah because it's one of those watches That just won't hold its value but if You're talking luxury brands Absolutely great investment and i think It's important for people to understand That isn't it that A lot of the time when you talk about Watches and you talk about being good Investments they take that mentality and They try to apply that to the three to Four the 500 watches and they go into it Buying them because they think it's Going to be a good investment but that Isn't how you should look at those lower End ones no absolutely not um there are Certain brands like rolex ap uh richard Meal is a great example Uh which i think is a bubble but that's Besides the point These watches are in limited production Although rolex do Like i know a million watches a year but There's two million people per year that Want to buy them so the supply is less Than the demand They're going to continue to go up every Year these manufacturers put their Prices up which continues to hold the Resale value and put it higher and with Them being hard to get yeah i think it's A great great investment I apologize in advance if i get people's

And then they're selling for a lot more Second hand right so for example your Rolex daytona 14 000 brand new selling For 40 something Do you think rolex will up the retail on Their next Uh well whatever whatever the watches Are to reflect the fact that people are Paying more on the aftermarket No i don't i think that rolex they every Year they put their prices up a couple Of percent that's just what rolex do But i think quite honestly They want to keep this price height they Want people to Want the watches and as long as they're Trading for fortunes over what the Retail is I think they're going to continue to be In massive demand the moment that they Equalize those prices it makes them Undesirable so uh i don't think we're All actually going to hack the prices Accordingly okay The yacht mogul says producer michael What's your opinion on richard meal Watches are they really worth the price Considering that they're mostly made out Of plastic and ceramic I love that question absolutely love That question so i have a hate Love hate relationship with the russian Meal watchers i have a few russian meal Watches and

Honestly When you hold them they they don't feel Special in fact adam you've hold a bunch Of them they feel they feel like Something you'd find in a cereal box um Are they massively complicated no The hype behind them is absolutely Insane they are so overpriced right now I mean a hundred thousand dollar richard Meal watch in fact they're more than That they're about 150 000 starting Price Should be 20 grand retail they're Selling for 400 000 How long it will last nobody knows Everybody says they're going to collapse But they haven't done yet At some point i think they will But you do own a few i do And i'm glad i do but i think i'm going To get out of them i'm going to sell Them because this cannot stay like this And i don't love wearing them either you Know so Between that and what's going on i think I should get rid of them do you think a Smarter move would be to liquidate the Rms and go and pick up some more Stainless steel rolexes any rolex any Patek uh any ap they're real watch Brands richard meal is a new wash brand That uh yeah they they they look cool um They just i don't know if you try and Change the date on an rm11 if you're two

A bezel or a dial or whatever I'm really really trying my best to stay Away from that it destroys the value of The watch absolutely destroys the value The manufacturer will not touch it if he Needs repair or service so yeah i Honestly um i'm not an advocate for Aftermarket anything on watches anymore That said i used to be And as i also said i have quite a few Watches actually with aftermarket Diamonds on them or whatever but i'm Trying to stay away from that now Okay last question from stop Does it devalue it did i answer that yes It does Okay no you did he did he said it Destroys the valley marcus finn says What is in your opinion the most durable Watch for everyday wearing g-shock [Laughter] Um No No get out of town rolex you can smash You you can throw a rolex up in the air Hit it with a tennis racket uh you might Put scratches on it but it's not going To break it's a phenomenally engineered Watch they are so durable i mean they Really there's a reason that rolex is Rolex more than g-shock Hey you could probably A g-shock's different it doesn't have a Mechanical movement inside it okay right
